Cut out the aileron

Ailerons cut out

Chamfer the bottom edge of the aileron .. the edge closest to the wing

Sand to finished shape

Shows the underside of the wing

Using clear packaging tape first lay a piece on the top joint and use a model iron to seal it to the foam

Use a bit of masking tape to hold the aileron back

Now use clear packaging tape and add to the underside

Wrap the tape all round the joint

Seal the tape on to the foam with the iron

Finished wing with tape hinges
